In May, Mexico's Wire Rod And Rebar Production Experienced Significant Month-on-month Increases.

Mexico's wire rod output reached a total of almost 55,700 tons in May of this year, up 0.1% from the month before and 0.7% from the same month a year earlier, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico (INEGI).

In the meantime, this nation produced about 119,000 tons of rebar, an increase of 3.6% from month to month and a decrease of 4% from year to year.

Mexico's production of wire rod fell by 1% year over year to 280,000 tons in the first five months of this year, and its production of rebar fell by 3% year over year to 668,000 tons.
