Pre-painted Steel Plate Exports From South Korea Increased Year On Year in August.

According to the Korea Iron and Steel Association, South Korean Pre-painted steel plate exports were around 110,000 tons in August, a 20.7% rise year on year.

Approximately 32,000 tons of South Korean Pre-painted steel plate were exported to Europe, representing a 38.4% increase over the same period previous year. Furthermore, shipments to Central and South America increased by 23.1% year on year to about 19,000 tons, while exports to North America increased by 9% year on year to approximately 22,000 tons.

South Korean export quantities of Pre-painted steel plates were approximately 832,000 tons from January to August, a 76% decrease from the same period last year. In terms of import volume, import volume decreased by 37.2% year on year about 143,000 tons.
