In the first half of 2024, my country exported 363,800 tons of oriented silicon steel, a year-on-year increase of 41.24%, of which 348,700 tons of oriented silicon steel with a width of ≥600mm was exported, a year-on-year increase of 36.81%, and 15,100 tons of oriented silicon steel with a width of <600mm was exported, a year-on-year increase of 462.97%.
In the first half of 2024, the cumulative amount of my country's exports of oriented silicon steel reached US$4.31 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 16.50%, of which the export value of oriented silicon steel with a width of ≥600mm was US$4.088 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 17.97%; the export value of oriented silicon steel with a width of <600mm was US$222 million, a year-on-year increase of 24.57%.
In the first half of 2024, the main export regions of my country's oriented silicon steel involved Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The top 10 countries in terms of export volume are India, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Vietnam, accounting for 77% of the total export volume, of which India accounted for 16%, Turkey accounted for 12%, and Mexico accounted for 11%.
