The US Cancels The AD Suspension Agreement On Russia's CTL Plate And Issues An AD Duty Order.

The United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) revoked the suspension agreement of the anti-dumping (AD) tax on certain cut-to-length carbon steel plates (CTL plates) from Russia, which had been in place since January 2003.

As a result, the USDOC issued an AD duty order on the Russian CTL plate, and it has directed that the suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits commence on the date this notification is published.

The anticipated weighted-average dumping margin for Joint Stock Company Severstal was set at 53.81%, whereas it was set at 185% for the Russia-wide entity.

This decision became effective on August 14, 2023.
