What Is Coated Steel

Coated steel plate, also known as coated steel plate, is a general name for products coated with Sn, Zn, Al, Cr, Pb Sn alloys, organic coatings and plastics on the surface of low-carbon steel plate with good deep drawing performance. Commonly used coated (plated) steel sheets include tin plated sheet, Wuxi steel sheet, galvanized steel sheet, aluminized steel sheet, lead tin alloy steel sheet and organic coated steel sheet.

Products plated with pure tin on the steel plate with thickness of 0.1~0.32mm. The tin plated sheet has bright surface, corrosion resistance, deep drawing lubricity, good solderability, and can be used for fine printing and coating. It is widely used in the food can industry and is easy to make.
