We supply high-quality Seamless Steel Tubes and Round Billets designed specifically for cylinder manufacturing. Our flagship grade, 34CrMo4 (AISI 4130X), is the global standard for automotive CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) cylinders and hydrogen storage. Produced via EAF+LF+VD, our steel features ultra-low sulfur and phosphorus levels to ensure exceptional impact toughness at low temperatures and high burst pressure resistance after quenching and tempering (Q+T).

Uniform Wall Thickness
For gas cylinders, uneven wall thickness leads to uneven stress distribution and potential explosion. We use advanced pilger mills to ensure Concentricity and minimize wall thickness deviation.
Superior Surface Quality
Defects like folding, scabs, or hairline cracks on the Inner Surface are strictly prohibited. Every pipe undergoes Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

Low levels of impurities (S, P, O, H) ensure the material does not fail during the severe deformation of the Hot Spinning (closing the bottle neck/bottom) process.
Hardenability

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between 34CrMo4 and 4130X?
A1: They are very similar chrome-moly steels. 34CrMo4 is the European (EN) and ISO standard, widely used worldwide. 4130X is the American designation, often with slightly stricter controls on phosphorus and sulfur. We can supply dual-certified material meeting both specs.
Q2: Do you supply the finished gas cylinder or the raw material?
A2: We supply the raw material (Seamless Steel Tubes or Round Billets). We do not manufacture the finished gas bottles. Our customers are the cylinder manufacturers who perform the spinning, heat treatment, and threading.
Q3: What standards do your tubes meet?
A3: Our tubes are produced according to GB/T 18248 (Seamless steel tubes for gas cylinder) or EN 10297-1. We provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) according to EN 10204 3.1.
Q4: Can you produce large-diameter tubes for trailer skids (Jumbo Tubes)?
A4: Yes. For gas transportation trailers (tube skids), we supply large-diameter seamless tubes (e.g., OD 559 mm, 610 mm, 711 mm), typically in grade 4142 or 4130X.
