The Minister for Industry and Science chose to accept the recommendations of the second sunset reviews of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on zinc-coated (galvanized) steel products, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission said on June 30, 2023.
As a result, starting on August 8, 2023, the AD measure on the aforementioned commodities from China, Taiwan, and South Korea as well as the CVD measure on the same items from China will both remain in effect.
