Balakovo Metallurgical Plant Has Mastered The Technology Of Producing New Angle Steel

The Balakovo Metallurgical Plant, according to the research, is a notable producer of long steel products in Russia, having mastered the production technology of new angle steel. This angle steel is manufactured in accordance with the GOST 6713-2021 bridge engineering standard, with dimensions of 90x90x7mm, strength grade C345, and steel grade 14KhGNDts.
The new angle steel will be utilized to build railways and motorways. Its unusual weather resistance and strength make it suited for northern Russia's severe climate, and it can withstand the perils of a magnitude 9 earthquake.
MZ Balakovo will showcase the product at the 29th international industrial expo "Metal-Expo'2023" in Moscow, which runs from November 7 to 10.
