Statistics show that Taiwan imported almost 8,200 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel in June, up 31.2% from the month before.
Nearly 200 tons of them were in the 200 series, with 191 tons coming from China's supply. 5,600 tons of the 400 series were imported, of which 5,026 tons were from China. Around 2,400 tons of the 300 series were produced, and Indonesia supplied 986 tons of that total.
Taiwan imported over 32,700 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel in the first half of this year, primarily from China, Japan, and Indonesia.
