Turkish Hot Coil Import And Export Prices Continue To Fall

On May 5, the assessment price of Turkish hot coil imports was US$585-600/ton (CFR), a month-on-month decrease of US$10-15/ton; on May 5, the assessment price of Turkish hot coil exports was US$720-750/ton (CFR) FOB), a month-on-month decrease of US$10-20/ton.

According to market news from Turkey, the mainstream quotation for China's hot-rolled coils exported to Turkey in the second half of June this week is US$585-600/ton (CFR), which is US$15-20/ton lower than last week's quotation. Currently, Chinese HRC quotations have a clear price advantage in the Turkish market. This week, the mainstream quotation for Turkish hot coil export is 720-760 US dollars/ton (FOB), which is 10-20 US dollars/ton lower than last week, but the actual transaction is light.

In addition, the evaluation price of imported cold coils in Turkey was US$700-705/ton (CFR) on May 5, showing a downward trend from last week's US$700-750/ton (CFR). In the second half of this week, the mainstream price of Chinese cold coil exported to Turkey is 700-705 US dollars / ton (CFR).
